The Regatta will be open to all Waterford Yacht Club members as well as all Waterford Marina members!   Registration fee is Free for all WYC members and $25 for non members with prizes awarded to the first 3 boats crossing the line (Refer to the Notice of Race posted at WHM and on the WYC website www.waterfordyc.com).

ORGANIZING AUTHORITY:        Waterford Yacht Club (WYC) 800 Mariners Drive Kemah, Texas 77565 https://www.waterfordyc.com

RULES:  The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) for 2013-2016.  This is a non-spinnaker regatta.

ENTRIES:  Registration to the race is due by June 20th.  Registration is Free for all WYC members and $25 for non members.

FLEETS:  All Waterford Yacht Club sailboat members and sailboat owners at Waterford Harbor Marina (WHM) are welcome.  The PHRF scoring system will be used for a Pursuit Type Race.  For a Pursuit race all boats will have a unique start time given at the Skippers meeting on the day of the race, June 21st, 2015 at 10:00 am in the WHM Ice House between Pier 14 and Pier 15.

MEASUREMENT:  All Yachts racing will be in a handicap fleet and will comply with all of the requirements of the handicap system.

SAILING INSTRUCTIONS:  The Sailing Instructions will be available at the Skippers meeting, April 4th at 10:00 am in the Ice House at WHM.

NOTICES TO COMPETITORS:  Notices to Competitors will be posted on the official Race Information Notice Board at the Ice House at WHM.

SCORING:  Since this is a Pursuit race, all sailboats will have a unique start time and the first to finish will be the winner and so forth for second, third and fourth.

PRIZES:  In the spirit of sailing the first 3 boats across the line will be win spirits supplied by WYC favorite local distillery.  Prizes to be distributed at 5PM at WYC Ice House (hopefully to be shared with all)

RACE AREA:  Racing will be in Galveston Bay outside of the Kemah channel bounded by Redfish Island, the Houston Ship Channel and Red Bluff Point.  Combinations of windward/leeward and triangles maybe sailed; to be announced at the Skippers meeting.
