Bloody Mary Sunday Feb. 7 – More than 30 club members gathered for an eye opener and a 2021 catch-up visit. Our new social director, Elfie Boersma, hosted the event and is now an expert mixologist.

On the Horizon
Pizza Night Saturday Feb. 27 – We will enjoy big slices of delivered pizza, and the custom addition of desert pizzas. You’ll assemble your own little desert pizza and bake it right there in Pavilion B. Bring your own beverages to go with the delicious pizza pie. Who likes anchovies?
Happy Hour Friday Mar. 12 6:30pm – Join in with the WYC membership and share an hour or more of beverages, snacks, and boating news. We typically gather in Pavilion B at 6:30pm, or if bad weather in the Ice House. You may not have noticed yet that WYCs popuar happy hours are scheduled for the second Friday of each month.
Hull Inspection Clinic Saturday Mar. 13 – Here’s another hands on event for all boaters by Education Director Daniel Knierien. He will discuss and demonstrate several issues including:
- bottom paints
- fiberglass blisters
- seacock inspection
We’ll meet at the Seabrook Shipyard starting at 9:00am and continue through noon.
Poker Run for Dinghies and Pedestrians Saturday Mar. 27- This is something different: WYC will sponsor a Poker Run card game for both dinghies and pedestrians. Its easy to play – At Pavilion B start with your $5.00 ante, and receive your marina clues. Follow the clues to the various dock dealers and receive your cards. Then back to the start for the five card draw showdown, prizes, and hamburger lunch. Signup with the forth coming Evite or email email@example.com. The best hands and fastest card collection win a prize. Will you play?
2021 Volunteers – Boost your WYC participation to the next level. Your racing, social planning, technical or other boating skills and interests are sure to benefit the general membership.
