Recent Events

Air Conditioning HVAC Clinic – Education Director Daniel Knierien conducted a hands-on clinic at the Sundance II Palapa.  Compressors, valves, hoses etc. were on display and discussed in detail.  His slide presentation of a typical installation highlighted maintenance and troubleshooting when our HVAC stops cooling.  Many of the two dozen members in attendance had questions and stories of their own experiences to share.

Railean Pirate Party – WYC pirates and tourists gathered at the Buccaneer Bar for a round or two of pirate drinks and appetizers.  Many of the three dozen attendees competed in the costume contest run by hosts Michelle Weidner and John Judas.  Wendy Buskop and Russell Parrish each won a booty bag with Railean beverages.  Arrrrrgh!

Thinking of booty – The yearlong WYC booty trinket contest is only half over so there is still plenty of time to attend six months of activities, collect your trinkets, and perhaps win a valuable gift card.
