Happy Hour Dec. 4th – Elfie Boersma hosted the gathering of about a dozen members in the Icehouse.  The appetizer type snacks provided by the attendees were enjoyed by all.

Holiday Desert Contest Dec 11thPlenty of sweets and beverages were available for almost two dozen members to enjoy.  By acclimation Tanya Holden’s cranberry tart was voted best desert.  She will receive a small gift card as a prize.

New Members – Please welcome our newest member, Shannon Edmondson, aboard the SV Waltzing Matilda at pier 12 slip 13.  Stop by her boat and say hello sometime soon.

Save the date Saturday Jan. 16: WYC Business MeetingPlan to attend our annual business meeting (at Sundance Grill II) and vote to install the 2021 officers.  This is the perfect time to voice your preference of 2021 events.  Should you choose to vote by proxy here’s a link to the WYC form: 2021 Business Mtg Proxy

WYC Annual Membership Dues: Its’ that time again and still only $125.  At the upcoming Jan. 16th business meeting dues can be paid by cash, check, credit card.  You can also renew online via the WYC website; just use  this link www.waterfordyc.com, login and click on the Members tab.  Should you choose to mail a check the address is Waterford Yacht Club, 2951 Marina Bay Drive, # 130-204, League City TX 77573.  Your dues are critical to ongoing WYC operations and help cover the costs of event meals, materials, supplies, prizes, and honorariums

.Save the date Saturday Jan. 16 6:00pm: Commodore’s Ball – We’ll celebrate your 2020 board of directors’ and others, and recognize the 2021 board at the Boardwalk Aquarium restaurant.  There will be dinner and dancing at this special venue.  Please purchase the $65 tickets (plus handling & tax) via this Eventbrite website link WYC Commodore’s Ball Tickets.

Happy Hour Feb. 5th – Stop by Pavilion B and enjoy the company of other boaters, while maintaining an appropriate social distance.

2021 Volunteers – Boost your WYC participation to the next level.  Your racing, social planning, technical or other boating skills and interests are sure to benefit the general membership.
