Calling all Women Sailors: Celebrating 34 years of Windward Bound Sailing Camp, May 31- June 3, 2017!

Hosted by The Houston Yacht Club and sponsored by the Women’s Sailing Association, Windward Bound Sailing Camp is now accepting applications for the 2017 camp. The overnight camp is open to all women 21 years of age or older.

The camp is for those new to sailing, those who are familiar with the sport but want to expand their knowledge and skills and for the experienced sailor who wants to race competitively.

Windward Bound features small group instruction with individualized attention and “NO YELLING.” The instructors and counselors are accomplished women sailors with years of experience in cruising, racing and teaching other women to sail.

Experience the excitement and camaraderie of sailing; take the helm, skipper your own boat, or become better crew! Whether your goal is to race competitively, become a good crew member, or just have fun on the water, you will leave Windward Bound having gained a wealth of knowledge, confidence, lasting friendships, and having had lots of fun.
