What : Halloween Sail to Double Bayou Shipwrecked Shores

Where: Galveston Bay & Trinity Bay

When: Friday, October 28 – Sunday, October 30

TMCA has invited us to join them for a Halloween Cruise to Double Bayou and will be taking the lead in setting us off on this sail:

TMCA boat, Shell Seeker will be leaving the scary Marker 2 at 9 a.m., October 29, for the wonderful Halloween Cruise Weekend across the bay at Double Bayou Pasture located up the East Fork of the bayou.  This is a perfect occasion for boaters to experience sailing/motoring in Trinity Bay with two great options.  1) You can follow other boats up the channel into the bayou and the Pasture anchorage, or access the docks at Oak Island and a little further upstream at Job Beason.  Then you’ll be ready for the weekend festivities.  2) make it a day sail with TMAC and return back to Waterford.

Wear your best costume, and of course do something to decorate your boat! We will have the usual bonfire to either ward off (or perhaps summon) the spirits! 

The actual schedule (more or less…) of activities is as follows:

5:00 PM – Docktails, combined with dinner. Please bring a ghoulish dish to share. A scary punch will be available for those who wish to indulge.

7:00 PM – Costume contest (for both people and pets!)

8:00 PM – Bonfire, music, singing, dancing, and ghost stories.

Sunday – Breakfast as a group, or on your own. (your choice)
