Join us for an evening of good food, great competition and boating friends getting together to have fun! A dinner of BBQ with all the trimmings will be catered by Hans Mair and Sundance Grill. Attire is western boater’s casual; TIARAS OPTIONAL!

The weather held back, the sun came out and it turned into a beautiful & breezy day for the
WYC BBQ, Bling & Banish the Hurricane’s social event!
Over 45 blinged fashionista’s enjoyed a delicious buffet of barbeque chicken, sausage and brisket with all the trimmings, all catered by Sundance Grill II.
Jimmy made sure the setting was beautifully presented for this festive occasion and kept us supplied with plenty of great food!
Among the attendees were the committee consisting of Dawn & Ricky Jackson, Lyn & David Dreisbach and Ellen & Kurt Van London.
Pavillion B all was decked out in black & silver, with sparkling silver lanterns hanging from the rafters and whimsical black, silver and white centerpieces decorating the tables.
Tropical and country music entertained the party-goers while they were socializing and dining.
Participation in the games was fantastic and everyone seemed to have a great time!
High score winner for the “Banish the Hurricane’s” toss was team phenomenon Kurt Van London with the accuracy of a torpedo.
The Bullet Blitz was won by, none other than the whiz kid himself, Kurt Van London!
Pedro Filipowsky offered the 50/50 once again, and the winner this time around was Greg Green.
Ms. Bling award went to Karen Townsend for her colorfully artistic denim blinged apparel and footwear.
Mr. Bling honors went to the humble Bill Adams for sporting his lovely tiara and smile throughout the event!
