Margarita Extravaganza – Members and guests gathered to sample several different Margaritas and enjoy spicy TexMex appetizers and entries.  After enjoying seven different mixtures, we voted for our favorite and Daniel Kinerien won a bottle of tequila.  Leonard and Ina Lachman hosted the event and added a festive flair to Pavilion B – thank you both!

Houston Yacht Club Overnight Cruise –   Seven boats and four land yachts made it to HYC.  We took over the restaurant, bar and pavilion for our dinners, brunch, happy hours and former Commodore Mike Pantoja’s LRC dice game (guess who won big).  Fleet Captain Elfie Boersma (and Bill Adams) arranged the boat slips and meal reservations for us which made it a great weekend.  So many thanks to them and to the members who brought food to the pavilion gatherings.  The Bay was choppy over the weekend so boaters had to work their way though it to come and go from the marina, and it was worth it; HYC is a very nice marina with extensive facilities.
