Recent Events
Movie Night – About 18 members and their guests attended the Sundance Grill II Saturday move night. The outdoor weather was threatening so we moved indoors to the members room. Manager Paula Price supplied popcorn and WYC purchased several different pizzas as we watched a Johnny Depp Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
Margarita Extravaganza – Daven, and Steve, kept the blenders buzzing, Chet added his home mix, Vickie delivered Habanero’s tacos and other members brought side dishes to fill out the offering. Special margarita additives beyond salt were available. About 18 members had all they could drink and eat and made it a great Extravaganza.
On The Horizon
Pub Crawl Sat. Aug. 10 6:00pm – 9:00 – Four locations in one night! We’ll meet first at Galveston Bay Brewery (intersection of Clear Lake Shores and Aspen) and spread-out from there. Respond to the email and indicate your intentions.

WYC will try to take ’em all in so save the evening for this great social event.
Clear Lake Dinghy Run Sat. Aug. 31 10:45 am – 2:00 – Let’s put our little boats into the water for a run across the lake. We’ll cross the lake to visit Cabos and then back to check out little Coco’s On the Canal. Poker cards will be passed out for a winning hand gift card. No boat – no problem; prior to starting let’s meet at 10:45am in Pavilion B for member dinghy assignments. Poor weather will require an event postponement.
Volunteers: Our busy 2024 agenda requires member support, so like Teresa Moore did, volunteer to help with a WYC event. Thank you Teresa!
