On the Horizon

Happy Hour Friday October 8 – Take an hour to enjoy an evening of conversation, beverages, and snacks at the WYC monthly HH.  It’s always appreciated when you bring something to share.

Birthday Bash Charity Fundraiser Saturday October 30 – WYC will host a party at the Sundance Grill II to celebrate another year at WHM.  It will Halloween eve, so you’ll have an extra night to wear your costume.  We’ll make this our annual charity event with a 50/50 drawing, so stash some cash or a credit card into your costume.  Look for an evite soon to describe the cost of the meal and additional details.

Bloody Mary Sunday 9:00am – 11:00am November 7 – Early risers will be rewarded with a tasty Bloody Mary at Pavilion B, and yes, the garnishes include bacon.  No reservation needed, just stop by.

Redfish Raft-up Nov. 20 – 21 – Let’s meet at our local anchorage and share the afternoon on the island (weather permitting).  A luncheon entre will be provided, so members just need to bring a side dish.  Uber dinghy volunteers to move members and supplies to the island are always appreciated.  Please respond to the future evite so the meal size can be estimated.  Try to stay the night on your own anchor or a member’s anchor.

2021-2022  Volunteers and Officers – There are still plenty of activities to support this year and 2022 needs a new slate of officers.  Share your boating, social planning, or other interests with the club by volunteering as a WYC 2022 officer…
