"Sailing the Web" - with Rus Records

Rus Records was the original WYC Webmaster through 2002. He presented an informative seminar on the history and development of the internet, and the founding of the Web by Tim Berners-Lee and other cyber pioneers. He then took the 19 seminar attendees for a behind-the-scenes look at the Waterford website, and showed them how to build web pages, insert text and graphics, and link pages together. We then shared our favorite sites for weather, travel, local information, and sailing. |
