Waterford Yacht Club visited Allen’s Landing in downtown Houston in honor of this year’s Rear Commodore, Sandy Records.  

While not without mishap, this was an overwhelmingly successful cruise. The weather cooperated with partly to mostly cloudy skies with just enough of a sprinkle or two to keep the temperature seasonal. For the 36 club members who participated, the trip through the Houston shipping channel was extremely interesting even though shipping traffic was light on both days. Some of the views from Buffalo Bayou were, by themselves, worth the trip.
